Quick Update
Posted on July 4th, 2011 No comments5 months since my last post here? Time flies. To anyone who might be still around and reading this blog, I thank you!
What happened with my site flipping plans? Panda happened! Not that it’s the end of the world as some so like to moan about. Yes, some quality sites were punished but overall, if nothing else, I think it’s pushing all of us to be bigger and better bloggers, affiliate marketers, SEO’s, webmasters, link builders and whatever else your forte and interests are. Affiliates: Make a Goal Right Now! My Journey to $500/day
Posted on December 18th, 2009 17 commentsNote: This post was originally published in July 2009. I’ve just inserted a few updates.
Not too long ago I made a post at the Warrior Forum about goals:
In the post I talked about how I created a desktop background that had photos of places I wanted to go and a house I wanted to buy.
It also had the words “$500 per day by December 31 2009″Well that goal was reached about 6 months in advance! Read the rest of this entry »

My Faith Renewed in Amazon Associates
Posted on October 18th, 2009 No commentsHow many newbie affiliates sign up to the Amazon affiliate program as their first? I think it was probably the first program I signed up with along with Commission Junction back in the day.
But there is one problem with Associates: the commission rates are relatively low compared with other merchants.
Another complaint people make is that because Amazon only have a 24 hour cookie, you are less likely to make a sale, especially if the person decides not to buy right now. Read the rest of this entry »

Is the Affiliate Market Too Saturated?
Posted on August 12th, 2009 No commentsThere are so many affiliate marketing forums, and many of them have tens of thousands of users. This all adds up to many, many affiliate marketers all promoting products, building blogs and flooding the internet with content.
Does this mean that the affiliate market is saturated?
That is certainly a common concern for people who are relatively new to the industry. After all, how can you possibly compete with potentially thousands of people in the very same niche as you, vying for the same clicks and the same customers?
I have a belief that the affiliate marketing industry will NEVER be over saturated. There is always room for someone else to come in and simply do things better than other people are doing.
It is a fact that most people who undertake some sort of affiliate activity actually give up before they get anywhere. That is good news for you, but not for those people.
It is the people who persevere and continue doing tasks that will build a business that will be the ones that get anywhere.
If only 1% of affiliate marketers in any niche are really putting great effort in and building a real, quality business online, then this leaves a lot of room for you.
Forget the other 99% who are either putting out junk content, not promoting properly or who simply don’t have the skills or know how to get traffic and convert sales.
When you look at it that way, affiliate marketing seems like a wide open industry just waiting for someone like you to dive in, overtake the majority of players and really make a mark for yourself in any niche that you choose.

Why It’s Vital to Communicate With Your Affiliate Manager
Posted on July 26th, 2009 No commentsWhen you work with CPA company’s you usually get assigned an account manager, or affiliate manager.
This is your “go to” person who should be there to answer any questions you have via email, chat or phone – even in person if you live close by. Unfortunately you rarely have such a close contact with the large affiliate networks, but it is a great perk of CPA.
Keeping close communication with your affiliate manager is highly important for many reasons, including: Read the rest of this entry »
