Should You Become an Adult Affiliate?

Becoming an adult affiliate webmaster is something that might have crossed your mind at one point.

After all there is massive money to be made in the adult niche. But it’s one of the few that I stay away from for the most part.

Well, there’s adult and there’s adult – and there is a marked difference between the mild stuff and the not so mild (which I’ll leave to your imagination).

I certainly don’t recommend a new affiliate marketer to jump right into this cut throat world. People who market adult sites usually spend big $$ on advertising – huge in fact. They are also some of the most innovative and adventurous marketers around – not that you aren’t, but the competition is FIERCE. That’s all I’m saying :p

To add to that you have to find specific hosts that allow your content. Then there’s the question of advertising and promotion – it’s certainly not the type of stuff you can promote with Ezinearticles and Squidoo! It really is a whole other world of internet marketing.

The kind of adult stuff that you might want to get your feet wet with includes Adultfriendfinder and similar adult dating affiliate programs – again, tons of competition but it sits below that line of ultra shady that the more hardcore adult programs reside in.
