• Not a Resolution, a 2010 Goal – Work Less Hours

    Posted on December 26th, 2009 7 comments

I admit, I don’t like the concept of new years resolutions. I figure, why does someone have to wait until January 1 to say they’ll start a new project, start exercising, stop eating junk food and so on. I just don’t get it! To me, it’s a sign of weakness.

The best time to start something new was yesterday, but if that didn’t happen, then start today. As you know, most people don’t carry through on their new years resolutions for long anyway!

So whilst this isn’t a resolution of sorts, I do have a goal I will achieve in 2010. It’s a simple one.

I will work LESS hours on my online business in 2010 Read the rest of this article »

  • Affiliates: Make a Goal Right Now! My Journey to $500/day

    Posted on December 18th, 2009 13 comments

Note: This post was originally published in July 2009. I’ve just inserted a few updates.

Not too long ago I made a post at the Warrior Forum about goals:

    Reached my Goal of $500/day

In the post I talked about how I created a desktop background that had photos of places I wanted to go and a house I wanted to buy.
It also had the words “$500 per day by December 31 2009″

Well that goal was reached about 6 months in advance! Read the rest of this article »

  • Niche Blogging Institute Review

I don’t talk about IM products much, simply because most of them are crap. But when Andrew Hansen releases something, I take notice.

Andrew has given me a sneak preview of NBI before its release to the public in a couple of days time. I have to say, I am impressed (and I don’t say things like that unless I REALLY am impressed). I can tell a whole lot of time and effort has gone into this. Read the rest of this article »

  • My Faith Renewed in Amazon Associates

How many newbie affiliates sign up to the Amazon affiliate program as their first? I think it was probably the first program I signed up with along with Commission Junction back in the day.

But there is one problem with Associates: the commission rates are relatively low compared with other merchants.

  • 1 New Blog Per Week

    Posted on September 7th, 2009 28 comments

2009 has flown by and since end of year is coming up in a few months, I’ve been looking back on the year gone by to see how much ground I’ve made.

Although my income has been good, I’m disappointed that I have not created as many NEW sites as I should have… so from now until year’s end I’m going to create 1 BRAND NEW blog every single week.

  • Why You Shouldn’t Trust Most Internet Marketing “Experts”

    Posted on July 19th, 2009 1 comment

Guru bashing is a popular online sport these days. It has become the in thing to talk about how people selling products in the IM niche are just churning out rubbish and that you should avoid everything at all costs.

So when I decided to write a post about internet marketing experts I didn’t want to sound like I was rehashing these sentiments without actually being sincere about it. On many occasions the very people telling you not to buy internet marketing products are the ones selling stuff themself – obviously they want you to buy theirs so will go to great lengths to discredit all others that they consider to be a competitor.

    Niche Marketing on Crack

Niche Marketing on Crack is a report that was released in 2007 by Andrew Hansen (the owner of Firepow blogging software).

Now you might think that a guide from early 2007 would now be so out of date it’s not funny – and in 99% of cases that’s true!

But this one has stood the test of time. This guide is what really led me to start taking affiliate marketing seriously. In the first month of putting the steps into action I was making regular sales in various niches. Read the rest of this article »
