Taking a Breather – Affiliate Burnout

Not only have I not posted here on my blog for a while, I also haven’t been doing much work at all lately (hey I never said EVERY post here was going to be motivational )

Why?
The simple reason is that I’ve been feeling rather burnt out over the past few months. From April last year until around February this year I undertook an extraordinary amount of work to build up my online business. I wrote hundreds of articles, set up countless new sites, promoted, built links, researched new products and niches and so on. There just comes a time where you, at least I, need to step away and take a breather. Dare I say it, I became bored of these tasks.

Not a Resolution, a 2010 Goal – Work Less Hours

I admit, I don’t like the concept of new years resolutions. I figure, why does someone have to wait until January 1 to say they’ll start a new project, start exercising, stop eating junk food and so on. I just don’t get it! To me, it’s a sign of weakness.

The best time to start something new was yesterday, but if that didn’t happen, then start today. As you know, most people don’t carry through on their new years resolutions for long anyway!

So whilst this isn’t a resolution of sorts, I do have a goal I will achieve in 2010. It’s a simple one.

Out and About

I haven’t posted for a while and I do apologize for that. I have been a little busy gallivanting around the countryside lately.

I just spent the last week or so in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane catching 3 concerts of my favourite band on the planet – Pearl Jam.
